Did you perform the Door Systems Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Ensure that the reverse park aid mirror option in turned ON for the current driver. Refer to Outside Mirrors Operation .
  2. Make sure that the passenger door module is connected to the harness connectors except the mirror harness connector.
  3. Attach a voltmeter to the vertical motor drive circuit pins.

Disregarding polarity, does the voltmeter indicate the voltage specified?

9-16 V

Go to Power Mirror Memory Recall Position Inaccurate

Go to Step 3

While observing the voltmeter, command the mirror to move by putting the transmission in REVERSE.

Test the drive circuits for shorts or opens. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the inoperative outside rear view mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .

Replace the driver door module (DDM). Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
