Removal Procedure
- Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Cut the tie wraps from the front drain hose drain spouts.
- Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly drain spouts.
- Remove the tape securing the drain hoses to the windshield pillars.
- Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
- Remove the front drain hose from the inner wheelhouse of the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the drain hoses up through the inner wheelhouse to the sunroof module assembly.
- Tape the front drain hoses into position on the windshield pillars.
- Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
- Connect the drain hoses to the drain spouts on the sunroof module assembly.
- Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts with new tie wraps.
- Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.
