Oil Filter Adapter Installation without Oil Cooler

1. Install NEW O-ring seals in the oil filter adapter.



2. Position the oil filter adapter on the crankcase.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the oil filter adapter bolts and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
4. Install the oil pressure sensor and tighten to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).



5. Fill the oil filter with oil.
6. Install the oil filter and tighten to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).

Oil Filter Adapter Installation with Oil Cooler

1. Install NEW O-ring seals in the oil filter adapter.



2. Position the oil filter adapter on the crankcase.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the oil filter adapter bolts. Tighten the oil filter adapter bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
4. Install the oil pressure sensor. Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).



5. Fill the oil filter with oil.
6. Install the oil filter and tighten to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).
