Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2009 🢒 Lucerne 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.6L 🢒 Water Crossover Assemble

    Object Number: 1564167 Size: SH
  1. Install the NEW water pump O-ring.

    2. Object Number: 1564207 Size: SH
  2. Install the water pump.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the water pump bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1564205 Size: SH

    Note: Do not use any type of sealant between the plenum duct and the water crossover.

  4. Install the NEW throttle body plenum duct. Tighten the throttle body plenum duct clamp to 2.25 N·m (20 lb in).

    5. Object Number: 1564203 Size: SH
  5. Install the rear lift bracket.
  6. Install the rear lift bracket bolt and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
  7. Install the engine coolant outlet fitting and tighten to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

    8. Object Number: 1564200 Size: SH
  8. Install the MAP sensor.
  9. Install the MAP sensor bracket.
  10. Install the MAP sensor bracket bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    11. Object Number: 1564198 Size: SH
  11. Install the NEW throttle body seal.
  12. Install the throttle body.
  13. Install the shift cable bracket.
  14. Install the throttle body bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    15. Object Number: 1564197 Size: SH
  15. Install the EVAP emission canister purge valve.
  16. Install the EVAP emission canister purge valve bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    17. Object Number: 1564195 Size: SH
  17. Install the NEW EGR gasket.
  18. Install the EGR valve.
  19. Install the EGR valve bolts and tighten to 24 N·m (17 lb ft).

    20. Object Number: 1564178 Size: SH
  20. Install the EGR bracket shield.
  21. Install the EGR bracket shield nut and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    22. Object Number: 522696 Size: SH
  22. Install the water outlet and thermostat.
  23. Install the water outlet bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  24. Install the NEW water pump cover gasket.

    25. Object Number: 1564175 Size: SH
  25. Install the water pump cover.

    26. Object Number: 682832 Size: SH

    Note: Ensure the bolt is installed in the lower inboard position (1) and the studs are installed in the remaining positions (2).

  26. Install the water pump cover bolt and studs and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
