Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 627396 Size: SH
  2. Remove the attaching bolts and the engine-to-transmission brace.
  3. Remove the torque converter cover.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 627396 Size: SH
  1. Install the torque converter cover.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the cover bolt to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  2. Install the engine-to-transmission brace and attaching bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
