  1. Remove the door. Refer to Door Removal - Front .

  2. Object Number: 105453  Size: SH
  3. Remove the hinges from the pillar and door.
  4. Ream the stud holes in the pillar side of the hinges in order to allow adjustment.
  5. Reinstall the hinges to the pillar and door. Leave the nuts on the pillar side of the hinge loose.
  6. Align the door, as needed.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Tighten the hinge nuts.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge nuts to 48 N·m (35 lb ft).

  10. Perform the following steps in order to adjust the door:
  11. 7.1. Loosen the nuts on the door side of the hinge.
    7.2. Align the door, as needed.
    7.3. Tighten the nuts.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 48 N·m (35 lb ft).

  12. Readjust the door glass. Refer to Front Side Door Window Adjustment or Rear Side Door Window Adjustment .
