Removal Procedure
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the inner belt molding. Refer to
Molding Replacement - Window Belt
.
- Remove the window run channel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement
.
- Remove the 2 screws (2)
from the inside edge of the door frame.
- Remove the 2 screws (4) from the run channel frame.
- Pull downward and out in order to remove the applique (1).
Installation Procedure
- Install the bottom of
the applique (1).
- Insert the top of the applique (1) under the window run
channel retainer (2).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the 2 screws (4)
in the run channel frame.
Tighten
Tighten the two screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the 2 screws (2) in the inside edge of the
door frame.
Tighten
Tighten the two screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the window run channel. Refer to

- Install the inner belt molding. Refer to
Molding Replacement - Window Belt

- Install the trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
