Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the inner belt molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
  3. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 259113  Size: SH
  5. Remove the 2 screws (2) from the inside edge of the door frame.
  6. Remove the 2 screws (4) from the run channel frame.
  7. Pull downward and out in order to remove the applique (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 259113  Size: SH
  1. Install the bottom of the applique (1).
  2. Insert the top of the applique (1) under the window run channel retainer (2).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the 2 screws (4) in the run channel frame.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the two screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the 2 screws (2) in the inside edge of the door frame.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the two screws to 2.0 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  9. Install the inner belt molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
  10. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
