Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.

1. Remove the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
2. Cycle the cam to the vent position.
3. Slide the trough and shield forward.
4. Slide the sunshade (1) forward.
5. Lift and turn the front edge of the sunshade (1) in order to disengage the retention clips (3).
6. Remove the sunshade from the opening.

1. Slide the trough and shield forward.
2. Flex the sunshade (1), upward, in order to clear the stops.
3. Keep the assembly centered and slide the sunshade (1) to the rear.
4. Slide the sunshade (1) forward.
5. Install the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .

1. Remove the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
2. Cycle the cam to the rear until the lift pin is clear.
3. Remove the 3 screws and the cover plates (1) on each side.



4. Cycle the cam rearward in order to expose the openings (2) in the track (4).
5. Remove the front lifter guides (3) from the track (4).
6. Cycle the cam forward in order to release the lifter arm from the trolley.

1. Install the lifter arms.




Important: Install the machine screws (4) in the same location as before the removal.

2. Install the cover plates (1).
3. Cycle the trough and shield assembly to the full rear travel position.
4. Install the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .

1. Remove the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
2. Cycle the tracks to the rear until the lift pin is clear.
3. Remove the cover plates (1).



4. Cycle the tracks forward in order to expose the openings (2) in the track (4).
5. Slide the lifter arms to the rear.
6. Lift out the arms through the openings (2) in the track.
7. Cycle the trolley forward. Do not disengage the cable from the transmission.
8. Pull the trough and shield assembly forward.
9. Lift out the trough and shield assembly through the opening (2) in the track (4).

1. Install the guide shoes (3) of the trough and shield assembly into the opening (2) in the track (4).
2. Engage the guide shoes of the trough and shield assembly in the slot on the track (4).
3. Center the trough and shield assembly.
4. Push the trough and shield assembly into the housing assembly until the assembly is seated.




Important: Install the machine screws (4) in the same location as before the removal.

5. Install the lifter arms and the cover plates (1).
6. Cycle the trough and shield assembly to full rear travel.
7. Install the window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
