Is the turn signal lamp that is inoperative a front turn signal lamp?

Go to Step 5

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal switch to the inoperative side.
  3. Using a test light, backprobe between the inoperative tail lamp harness connector terminal A and ground.

Is the test light flashing?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

    • If the left side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 18.
    • If the right side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 19.

Has the repair been made?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Replace the tail/stop/turn lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .

Inspect the turn telltale light flash.

Does the turn telltale light flash for the inoperative side when the turn signal is ON?

Go to Step 7

    • If the left side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1414 between C201 terminal A13 and S292.
    • If the right side is inoperative: repair a poor connection in circuit 1415 between C201 terminal A12 and S291.

Has the repair been made?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal switch to the inoperative side.
  3. • If the left side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) control module harness connector C1 terminal E and ground.
    • If the right side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) control module harness connector C1 terminal G and ground.

Does the test light flash?

Go to Step 9

    • If the left side is inoperative: repair a poor connection an open in circuit 1414 between S292 and the DRL control module harness connector C1 terminal E.
    • If the right side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1415 between S291 and the DRL control module harness connector C1 terminal G.

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal switch to the inoperative side.
  3. • If the left side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the DRL control module harness connector C1 terminal B and ground.
    • If the right side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the DRL control module harness connector C1 terminal C and ground.

Does the test light flash?

Replace the DRL control module. Refer to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Control Module Replacement .

  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal to the inoperative side.
  3. • If the left side is inoperative:using a test light, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C2 terminal F11 to ground.
    • If the right side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C2 terminal F12 to ground.

Does the test light flash?

Go to Step 13

    • If the left side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 14 between the DRL control module connector C1 terminal B and the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal F11.
    • If the right side is inoperative: repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 15 between the DRL control module connector C1 terminal C and the underhood accessory wiring junction block connector C2 terminal F12.

Has the repair been made?

  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal to the inoperative side.
  3. • If the left side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal A11 to ground.
    • If the right side is inoperative: using a test light, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal A12 to ground.

Does the test light flash?

Replace the underhead accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Accessory Wiring Junction Block Replacement .

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN.
  2. Place the turn signal to the inoperative side.
  3. Using a test light, backprobe between the inoperative side headlamp harness connector terminal D and ground.

Does the test light flash?

--

Go to Step 16

Replace the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
