  1. Turn the radio on.
  2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio antenna module connector C395 terminal A and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

12 V

  1. With the radio still on.
  2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio terminal F3 and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

12 V

  2. Using a DMM, backprobe between the radio antenna module connector C395 terminal A and terminal B.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

Is the coaxial cable OK?

  1. Inspect the connection between the rear window antenna grid and the radio antenna module.
  2. If OK, replace the radio antenna module. Refer to Antenna Amplifier Replacement for service procedure.
