1. Remove the obstruction.
2. Caution: Improper removal may damage tape player.
3. Inspect and clean moving parts and tape head.
4. Use the cleaning cassette. Refer to Cassette Player Care and Cleaning for service procedure.
5. Use diagnostic test tape from the J 39916-A . Refer to Speakers General Diagnosis for more information.

Does the test tape operate correctly?
