Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket , or to Split Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seat back from the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  3. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 519890 Size: SH
  4. Pull off the front seat back release knob, if required.

    5. Object Number: 519889 Size: SH
  5. Unfasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  6. Remove the front seat head restraint retainers. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 519879 Size: SH
  7. Unfasten the seat back cover from the retainer at the side impact airbag using a small curved bladed tool first to gain access to the front seat back material.

    8. Object Number: 519891 Size: SH
  8. Unfasten the seat back cover from the retainer at the side impact airbag, by pressing in and pulling down on the seat back cover.
  9. Disconnect the map pocket retainer clip.
  10. Pull out the front seat back cover end flaps (3 each side).

  11. Reach inside of the front seat back cover in order to unfasten the hook and the loop retainers securing the front seat back cover to the pad.

  12. Remove the hog rings.

  13. Remove the front seat back cover from the seat back, by pulling the seat back cover up and over the pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 519886 Size: SH
  1. Position the front seat back cover to the pad.

    2. Object Number: 520373 Size: SH
  2. Pull the seat back cover over the pad and align the hook and the loop retainers.

    3. Object Number: 520405 Size: SH
  3. Use firm hand pressure in order to fasten the hook and the loop retainers, securing the front seat back cover to the pad.
  4. Install the front seat head restraint retainers. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 519890 Size: SH
  5. Install the front seat back release knob if required, pressing into place until fully seated.

    6. Object Number: 519891 Size: SH
  6. Install the seat back cover to the retainer at the side impact airbag, by pressing in and pulling down on the seat back cover.
  7. Connect the map pocket retainer clip.
  8. Reposition the front seat back cover end flaps (3 each side).

  9. Install the hog rings.

    10. Object Number: 519889 Size: SH
  10. Fasten the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.
  11. Install the front seat back to the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  12. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  13. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket , or to Split Bench Seat Replacement .
