Observe the security indicator and turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

The SECURITY indicator turns on for 5 seconds and turns off.

•	SECURITY Indicator On, Engine Starts

•	SECURITY Indicator Always On or Flashing

•	The security indicator does not turn on. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

•	The engine starts.

•	The SECURITY indicator turns on for 5 seconds.

•	SECURITY Indicator On, Engine Starts

•	SECURITY Indicator Always On or Flashing

•	SECURITY Indicator On, Engine Does Not Crank

•	Ignition Key Lock Cylinder Test

•	The security indicator does not turn on. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
