Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement LY7

Tools Required

1. Remove the power steering pump from the engine for clearance. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .



2. Use the J 25034-C and J 25034-257 in order to remove the pump pulley.

1. Use Mac® Tools Power Steering Pump Pulley Service Kit or equivalent, to install the power steering pump pulley.




Important: 

•	Ensure that the face of the pulley hub is flush to within 0.25 mm (0.010 in) with the end of the pump shaft.

•	Do not use the arbor press to install the pulley.

2. Install the power steering pump to the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

Tools Required

1. Remove the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .
2. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement for the 3.5L engine.



3. Remove the power steering pump pulley using the J 25034-C .

1. Install the power steering pump pulley to the pump using the J 25033-C . Ensure that the face of the pulley hub is flush with the pump drive shaft.
2. Install the drive belt to the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement for the 3.5L engine.
3. Install the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .
