- Pressure test the cooling system and the cap for leaks. Refer

(180-195°F) thermostat. The ambient temperatures should be between
13-38°C (55-100°F).
- Set the HVAC controls in the off position.
- Run the cold engine at idle (68-70°F) for 15-20
minutes before checking the engine temperature.
- Check the engine coolant temperature at idle with the Scan Tool
