Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 946248 Size: SH
  1. Remove the applicable camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side.
  3. Remove the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Replacement - Left Side.
  4. Clean and inspect the camshafts, rocker arms and lifters. Repair or replace as necessary. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection , Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection and Valve Lifters Cleaning and Inspection .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Install the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side.
  3. Install the applicable camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left Side.
