Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement. Remove the instrument panel inflatable restraint module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement.
1	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Screw (Qty: 37) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 2.5 N·m (22 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Tie-Down Screw (Qty: 1) Tighten 2.5 N·m (22 lb in)
3	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Procedure Grasp the upper trim panel and pull upward disengaging the retainer clips securing the upper trim panel to the lower trim panel. When replacing the instrument panel upper trim panel assembly, transfer all necessary components.

3	Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Procedure Grasp the upper trim panel and pull upward disengaging the retainer clips securing the upper trim panel to the lower trim panel. When replacing the instrument panel upper trim panel assembly, transfer all necessary components.
