Preliminary Procedure

Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.

Windshield Wiper Transmission Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Procedure

Secure the outboard plenum flange bolt first followed by the inboard wiper transmission bolt second.

Windshield Wiper Transmission Assembly

Procedure

1. Release the transmission assembly from the fender flange stud, raise the transmission assembly from the plenum and disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
2. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement.
