Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2003 🢒 CTS - RHD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side in Engine Exhaust.
  3. Remove the starter motor heat shield. Refer to Starter Shield Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  4. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.

    5. Object Number: 816388 Size: SH
  5. Remove the right engine mount upper retaining nut.

    6. Object Number: 816392 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.

  6. Remove the right engine mount bracket mounting bolts.
  7. Remove the engine mount bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 816392 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the engine mount bracket mounting bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  3. Remove the screw jack.

    4. Object Number: 816388 Size: SH
  4. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

  5. Install the starter motor heat shield. Refer to Starter Shield Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  6. Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side in Engine Exhaust.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
