Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the defroster valve actuator. Refer to Defroster Valve Actuator Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 153299 Size: MH
  2. Disconnect the mode valve (floor) actuator connector.

    3. Important: The actuator linkage may need to be rotated in order to access the screws for the following step.

  3. Remove the actuator screws.
  4. Remove the actuator from the linkage.
  5. Remove the actuator from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 153299 Size: MH
  1. Install the actuator in the vehicle.
  2. Install the actuator to the linkage.

    3. Important: The actuator linkage may need to be rotated in order to access the screw holes for the following step.

  3. Install the actuator screws until fully seated and not stripped.
  4. Connect the actuator connector.
  5. Install the defroster valve actuator. Refer to Defroster Valve Actuator Replacement .
