Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Reconnect the power window switch and module.
  5. Raise the window to the full up position.

  7. Remove the upper and lower fasteners (2).
  8. Rotate the front window channel (1) forward.
  9. Remove the front window channel (1) through the front access hole of the inner door panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front window channel (1) through the front access hole of the inner door panel.
  2. Rotate the front window channel (1) rearward and align on the lower edge of the window.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the upper and lower front window channel fasteners.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  6. Lower the window to the full down position.
  7. Disconnect the power window switch and module.
  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  9. Install the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
  10. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
