Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.

  2. Object Number: 493743  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.
  4. Note the orientation of the speaker electrical connector.


    Object Number: 334823  Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 speaker fasteners.
  6. Remove the speaker from the door panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 334823  Size: SH
  1. Install the speaker to the door panel, with the electrical connector oriented as noted during removal.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the 4 fasteners.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector.
  6. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
