Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 367534 Size: MH
  1. With an assistant, remove the lid assembly (1). Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the extension pin. Refer to Spring Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid Hinge .
  5. Remove the hinge strap retaining pin (2).

    6. Discard the pin.

  6. Remove the hinge strap (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 367534 Size: MH
  1. Install the hinge strap (4).
  2. Install a new hinge strap retaining pin (2).
  3. Install the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the extension spring. Refer to Spring Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid Hinge .
  5. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. With an assistant, install the lid assembly (1). Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Replacement .
  7. Inspect the rear compartment lid for proper alignment.

    8. Align the lid as necessary. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment .
