Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the radio and heater/AC control assembly. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  2. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the right side insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    4. Object Number: 591881 Size: SH
  4. Make note of body electrical harness routing in the instrument panel.
  5. Disengage the body electrical harness (1) in the instrument panel from the retainer (2).
  6. Remove the antenna cable from the instrument panel body electrical harness.
  7. Remove the right side carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.

    8. Object Number: 591877 Size: SH
  8. Pull back the carpet in order to gain access to the body electrical harness on the floor.
  9. Open the body electrical harness retainer on the right side of the vehicle, in order to gain access.
  10. Remove the antenna cable (1) from the body electrical harness on the right side of the vehicle.
  11. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.

  12. Remove the body electrical harness from the conduit (1).
  13. Remove the antenna cable from the body electrical harness.

    14. Object Number: 591868 Size: SH
  14. Guide the antenna cable (1) into the rear compartment.

  15. Disconnect the antenna cable (1) from the power antenna.
  16. Remove the antenna cable from the electrical harness in the rear compartment.
  17. Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the antenna cable to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 591866 Size: SH
  2. Guide the cable (1) from the rear compartment to the passenger compartment.
  3. Connect the antenna cable to the power antenna.

    4. Object Number: 591868 Size: SH
  4. Install the antenna cable to the body wiring harness, using electrical tape, secure as necessary.
  5. Install the body electrical harness/antenna cable to the conduit (1).
  6. Install the antenna cable to the body electrical harness inside the passenger compartment.
  7. Secure the coaxial cable with electrical tape as necessary.
  8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.

  9. Install the body electrical harness/antenna cable (1) to the wiring retainer on the right side of the vehicle.
  10. Install the antenna cable to the wiring harness on the floor of the vehicle.
  11. Secure the coaxial cable with new electrical tape as necessary.
  12. Install the right side of the carpet.
  13. Install the right side carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  14. Install the antenna cable to the instrument panel electrical harness.
  15. Secure the coaxial cable with new electrical tape as necessary.

  16. Install the electrical harness (1) to the instrument panel.
  17. Fasten the electrical harness retainer (2).
  18. Install the right side insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  19. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  20. Install the radio and heater A/C control assembly. Refer to Radio Replacement .
