Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the front seat cushion. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Replacement.
3. Recalibrate SIR passenger presence system. After any parts of seat cushion or passenger presence system is removed, refer to Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Programming and Setup.

Front Seat Back Frame Retaining Bolt (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)

Front Seat Adjuster

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the front seat adjuster.
