Removal Procedure

    Important: It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the A/C system during auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC) replacement.

    Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser.


    Object Number: 1350216  Size: SH
  1. Reposition the condenser to access the auxiliary transmission oil cooler. Refer to Condenser Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines from the TOC.
  3. Disconnect the TOC line from the TOC retainer clip (1).

  4. Object Number: 1350217  Size: SH
  5. Remove the TOC mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the TOC.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1350217  Size: SH
  1. Install the TOC.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the TOC mounting bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Connect the TOC lines to the TOC.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fittings to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    Connect the TOC line to the TOC retainer clip (1).

  7. Reposition and reinstall the condenser. Refer to Condenser Replacement .
