Rear Seat Adjuster Replacement for Cadillac SRX 2009

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement.
  2. Remove the right seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side.
  3. Remove the left seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Left Side.

    4. Object Number: 1273944 Size: SH
  4. Remove the pivot trim cover screws (1).
  5. Remove the outer pivot covers.
  6. Remove the right seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Right Side.
  7. Remove the left seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Left Side.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the left seat back on to the seat adjuster. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Install the right seat back on to the adjuster. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Right Side.

    3. Object Number: 1273944 Size: SH
  3. Install the inner pivot covers.
  4. Install the outer pivot covers.

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Install the pivot cover screws (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the pivot cover screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the right seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side.
  7. Install the left seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Left Side.
  8. Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement.
