Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the liftgate close actuator motor control module. Refer to Liftgate Close Actuator Motor Control Module Replacement.
3. Remove the rear body control module, if required. Refer to Accessory and Liftgate Control Module Replacement.
