Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1380427 Size: SH
  1. Remove the auxiliary evaporator from the auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement.
  2. Remove the auxiliary thermal expansion valve (TXV) assembly bolts.
  3. Remove the auxiliary TXV from the auxiliary evaporator.
  4. Remove and discard the O-rings.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install new O-rings to the auxiliary TXV assembly. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1380427 Size: SH
  2. Install the auxiliary TXV to the evaporator.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the auxiliary TXV bolts to the auxiliary evaporator.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 3.5 N·m (31 lb in).

  4. Install the auxiliary evaporator to the auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement.
