1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Place the gear selector in PARK.
3. Place the twilight delay switch to the OFF position .
4. Place the headlamp switch to the OFF position.

All exterior lamps and instrument cluster indicators are off.

Place the headlamp switch to the ON position .

Both low beam headlamps turn on. All park lamps and tail lamps turn on.

Pull the headlamp dimmer switch toward the driver.

The high beam headlamps light in addition to the low beam headlamps while the switch is being held.

Headlamps Flash to Pass Inoperative

Push the headlamp dimmer switch away from the driver.

The headlamps switch from low beams to high beams. The high beam indicator lights.

1. Pull the headlamp dimmer switch toward the driver to the center position.
2. Place the headlamp switch to the OFF position .

All exterior lamps and instrument cluster indicators are off.

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Expose the ambient light sensor to a bright incandescent light.
3. Remove the gear selector lever from the PARK position.

Both high beam headlamps light at half intensity. All other exterior lamps remain off.

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Inoperative

1. Cover the ambient light sensor.
2. Place the twilight delay switch to an ON position.

The headlamps switch from high beam DRL to regular intensity low beam headlamps.

1. Expose the ambient light sensor to a bright incandescent light.
2. Turn on the windshield wipers.

After approximately 6 seconds, the low beam headlamps and park lamps turn on.

Headlamps Inoperative - Low Beams with Windshield Wipers On

Headlamps Inoperative - Low Beams with Windshield Wipers On

1. Pull the headlamp dimmer switch toward the driver until it clicks.
2. Place the headlamp switch to the OFF position.

All exterior lamps and instrument cluster indicators are off.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Expose the ambient light sensor to a bright incandescent light.
3. Remove the gear selector lever from the PARK position.

Both low beam headlamps and the park lamps light.

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Headlamps Inoperative

2. Place the twilight delay switch to an ON position.
