Was the entire Exterior Lights System Check performed?

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  2. Backprobe the turn signal switch connector C202 with a DMM from cavity B4 (YEL) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

  1. Move the turn signal switch to the right turn position.
  2. Backprobe the turn signal switch connector C202 with a DMM from cavity B6 (BLK) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

  1. Move the turn signal switch to the left turn position.
  2. Backprobe the turn signal switch connector C202 with a DMM from cavity B5 (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt.

Is the turn signal switch replacement complete?

Backprobe the rear junction block connector C1 with a DMM from cavity A7 (YEL) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 8

Replace the rear junction block . Refer to Rear Junction Block Replacement.

Is the rear junction block replacement complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Repair the open in CKT 32 (YEL) between the rear junction block and the turn signal switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the underhood junction block and ground G401. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
