Inspect the IGN 1 Fuse in the rear junction block for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Inspect the I/P fuse #7 in the underhood junction block for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Repair short to ground in CKT 1039 (PNK).

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 440 (ORN).

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the IPC Connector C2.
  3. Use a J 39200 in order to measure the voltage from the IPC Connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to ground.

Is the displayed voltage above the specified value?

10.5 V

Go to Step 7

  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Use a J 39200 in order to measure voltage from the IPC connector C2 terminal A3 CKT 1039 (PNK) to ground.

Is the displayed voltage above the specified value?

10.5 V

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use a J 39200 in order to measure the voltage from the IPC connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to terminal B6 CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).

Is the displayed voltage above the specified value?

10.5 V

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use a J 39200 to measure voltage from the IPC connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to terminal B7 CKT 450 (BLK).

Is the displayed voltage above the specified value?

10.5 V

Go to Step 12

Repair open in CKT 450 (BLK).

Is the repair complete?
