Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement Left

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.



2. Remove IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
3. Remove one fastener near IP cluster at IP retainer.
4. Lift outboard end of trim plate to disengage locating tab and pull rearward.

1. Align woodgrain trim panel to IP retainer.
2. Install fastener from trim panel to IP retainer.
3. Install IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
4. Enable the SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.

Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement Right

1. Disable SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
3. Remove two fasteners from trim panel to IP retainer.
4. Remove PSIR module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in SIR.



5. Remove two fasteners from straps at carrier.
6. Pull rearward on trim panel to disengage three snap clips and remove trim plate.

1. Align trim panel to IP retainer.
2. Push forward on trim plate to engage the three snap clips while aligning the A/C housings to A/C ducts.
3. Install the two fasteners from trim panel to IP retainer.



4. Install fasteners from straps to carrier.
5. Install IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
6. Install PSIR. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in SIR.
7. Enable SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
