  1. Turn the Ignition Switch to the RUN position.
  2. Observe the Navigation Display Module.

Does the Navigation Display Module power up?

  1. Disconnect the Navigation Data Processor connector C1.
  2. Connect a test lamp between cavity 5 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1 and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Connect a test lamp between cavity 5 and cavity 6 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Repair the open in circuit 3240 between cavity 5 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C1 and Splice S304. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp between cavity 5 and cavity 12 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1.

Did the test lamp light?

Repair the open in circuit 1051 between cavity 6 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C1 and Ground G401. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect a test lamp between cavity 4 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1 and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

Repair the open in circuit 1051 between cavity 12 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C1 and Ground G401. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Measure the voltage between cavity 15 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1 and ground with a DMM.

Was the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Repair the open in circuit 334 between cavity A7 of the Navigation Relay and cavity 4 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Measure the resistance between cavity 15 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C1 and ground with a DMM.

Was the resistance measured within the specified range?

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 2045 between cavity 15 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C2 and cavity of the Navigation Display Module connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the Navigation Display Module connector C3.
  2. Measure the resistance between cavity 15 of the Navigation Data Processor harness connector C2 and cavity 2 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 with a DMM.

Was the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Repair the short to ground in circuit 2045 between cavity 15 of the Navigation Data Processor connector C2 and cavity of the Navigation Display Module connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  2. Connect a test lamp between cavity 23 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground.

  2. Connect a test lamp between cavity 23 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground.
