1. Disconnect the Navigation Display Module connector C3.
2. Measure the voltage between cavity 21 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Measure the voltage between cavity 8 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

0 V

Go to step 6

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 2054 between cavity 21 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3 and cavity 14 of the Radio connector C2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Measure the resistance between cavity 21 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

Infinite

Go to step 7

Repair the short to B+ in circuit 2055 between cavity 8 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3 and cavity 15 of the Radio connector C2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Measure the resistance between cavity 8 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and ground with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

Infinite

Repair the short to ground in circuit 2054 between cavity 21 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3 and cavity 14 of the Radio connector C2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

1. Disconnect the Radio connector C2.
2. Measure the resistance between cavity 21 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and cavity 14 of the Radio harness connector C2 with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms

Repair the short to ground in circuit 2055 between cavity 8 of the Navigation Display Module connector C3 and cavity 15 of the Radio connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Measure the resistance between cavity 8 of the Navigation Display Module harness connector C3 and cavity 15 of the Radio harness connector C2 with a DMM.

Is the resistance measured within the specified range?

0-2 ohms
