  1. Engine running.
  2. Press the DSPL MODE button.

Does the display change?

--

  1. Ignition switchON (engine not running).
  2. Connect scan tool.
  3. Select the IPC Inputs Menu.
  4. Press the DSPL MODE button.

Does the DSPL MODE switch input toggle from ON to OFF when button is pressed?

Does the ENG/MET button work?

Go to Instrument Panel Cluster Control Switch Inoperative - ENG/MET

  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the LH DIC switch connector
  3. Connect a fused jumper between terminals 6, CKT 893 (PNK) and 7, CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).
  4. Ignition switch ON.

When the jumper is added and removed does the IPC display a message?

Repair CKT 893 (PNK).
