  1. Engine running.
  2. Press TRIP A/B control button.

Does the odometer toggle between season and trip ?

  1. Ignition switch ON (engine not running).
  2. Connect scan tool.
  3. Select the IPC inputs menu.
  4. Press the TRIP A/B button.

Does the TRIP A/B Switch input toggle from ON to OFF when button is pressed?

Does the ENG/MET button work?

  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the LH DIC switch connector.
  3. Connect a fused jumper between the terminals 5, CKT 894 (DK BLU) and 7, CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).
  4. Ignition switch ON.

When the jumper is added and removed does the scan tool TRIP A/B switch input toggle from ON to OFF ?

Check for CKT 894 (DK BLU) for an open or short to ground.

Repair CKT 894 (DK BLU).

Is the repair complete?

Check for CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) for an open.

Was there a problem with CKT 351?
