Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement Upper

1. Remove the air cleaner clamp and the air cleaner.



2. Remove the fan upper shroud bolts.
3. Remove the fan upper shroud.

1. Install the fan upper shroud.
2. Install the upper shroud bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the upper shroud bolts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

3. Install the air cleaner and the air cleaner clamp.

Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement Lower

1. Remove the air cleaner clamp and the air cleaner.
2. Remove the upper shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .



3. Remove the lower shroud.

1. Install the lower shroud.
2. Install the fan upper shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
3. Install the air cleaner and the air cleaner clamp.
