  1. Use a DMM J 39200 in order to backprobe CKT 328 (PPL) cavity L from the headlamp and panel dimmer switch connector to ground.
  2. Open any one door and keep the door open for the remainder of the test.

Is there continuity?

Is there continuity?

Inspect for an open in CKT 328 (PPL) between the headlamp and panel dimmer switch and splice S306.

  1. Disconnect the side door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a fused jumper wire between CKT 1897 (ORN/BLK) at the side door jamb switch connector and ground.
  3. Ensure that the jumper remains connected for the rest of the test.

Do the courtesy lamps light?

    • CKT 156 (WHT) between splice S214/S307 and the affective lamps.
