Did you review the Wiper/Washer operation and perform the necessary inspections?

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe from the rear window wiper/washer switch CKT 392 (DK GRN) cavity B to ground.
  3. Press the rear window washer switch.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Disconnect the rear window washer pump motor connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 392 (DK GRN) harness cavity B to ground --(located in the liftgate body harness at rear of vehicle).
  3. Press the rear window washer switch.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the rear window wiper/washer switch.

Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement in Insturment Panel, Gauges and Console.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 11

Connect a test lamp between CKT 392 (DK GRN) cavity B to CKT 350 (BLK) cavity A at the rear window washer pump motor connector.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the open in CKT 392 (DK GRN).

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Check for a cut in the washer fluid line.

Did you find a cut in the washer fluid line?

Replace the rear washer pump.

Repair the open in CKT 350 (BLK).
