Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement E54

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear speaker grille.
  2. Remove the window garnish molding.
  3. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement
  4. Remove the rivets that retain the speaker to the speaker bracket.

  5. Object Number: 306860  Size: SH
  6. Slide the speaker toward the center of the door and remove through the upper rectangular opening.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
  2. Install the speaker into the door thorough the upper rectangular opening and slide toward the edge of the door.
  3. Align the speaker with the mounting bracket.

  4. Object Number: 306860  Size: SH
  5. Install the rivets that retain the speaker to the bracket.
  6. Verify component operation.
  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement
  8. Install the window garnish molding.
  9. Install the rear speaker grille.

Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement Cargo Door

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear speaker grille.
  2. Remove the window garnish molding.
  3. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement
  4. Remove the rivets that retain the speaker to the speaker bracket.

  5. Object Number: 306860  Size: SH
  6. Slide the speaker toward the center of the door and remove through the upper rectangular opening.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
  2. Install the speaker into the door thorough the upper rectangular opening and slide toward the edge of the door.
  3. Align the speaker with the mounting bracket.

  4. Object Number: 306860  Size: SH
  5. Install the rivets that retain the speaker to the bracket.
  6. Verify component operation.
  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement
  8. Install the window garnish molding.
  9. Install the rear speaker grille.
