Important: This diagnostic procedure is for an inoperative window from the RF window switch only. The RF window should still operate from the LF power window master switch. If these exact conditions do not exist, refer to Symptoms

Did you review power windows operation and perform the necessary inspections?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Check for battery voltage with DMM from cavity F of the RF power window switch to ground.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Repair OPEN in CKT 343 (YEL) between RF power window switch and S305.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

  1. Turn ignition to the OFF posiiton.
  2. Disconnect the Power Window Switch RH front connector C2.
  3. Checking for continuity, connect one lead of DMM to cavity F connector C2 of the RF power window switch.
  4. Connect the other lead to cavity K, and then G of connector C2 while toggling the switch.

Do both cavities indicate continuity?

Replace RF power window switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Replace LF power window master switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
