Go to Symptoms

1. Disconnect the RH outside power mirror.
2. Connect a test lamp from CKT 90 (GRY) cavity E at the RH outside power mirror to ground.
3. Place the selector switch in the RH mirror position.
4. Press the switch to the LEFT position.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Using a test lamp backprobe CKT 90 (GRY) cavity C at the Outside Rear View Remote Control Switch to ground.
2. Press the switch to the left position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair an open in CKT 90 (GRY) between the RH outside mirror and the outside rearview mirror control switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the outside rearview mirror control switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
