  1. Disconnect the door lock relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp from CKT 540 (ORN) cavity C at the door lock relay to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair an open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the door lock relay and the I/P fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 19

Connect a test lamp from CKT 540 (ORN) cavity C to CKT 1050 (BLK) wire cavity D at the door lock relay.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair an open in CKT 1050 (BLK) between the door lock relay and G200.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 19

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 195 (LT BLU) cavity F at the door lock relay to ground.
  2. Place any inoperative switch in the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 9

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 195 (LT BLU) at the inoperative lock switch to ground.
  2. Place the inoperative switch in the lock position.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair an open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between the inoperative lock switch and the door lock relay.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 194 (WHT) cavity A at the door lock relay to ground.
  2. Place the inoperative lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 194 (WHT) at the inoperative lock switch to ground.
  2. Place the inoperative lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair an open in CKT 194 (WHT) between the inoperative lock switch and the door lock relay.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp from CKT 640 (ORN) at the inoperative switch to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the inoperative switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .

Locate and repair an open in CKT 640 (ORN) between the I/P fuse block and the inoperative switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Unlock all the doors.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from CKT 540 (ORN) cavity C to CKT 295 (GRY) cavity E.
  3. Connect another fuse jumper from CKT 1050 (BLK) cavity D to CKT 294 (TAN) cavity B of the door lock relay.
  4. Observe the operation of each door lock.

Do all of the doors lock?

Replace the door lock relay.

Locate and repair an open in one of the following locations:

    • CKT 294 (TAN) between the door lock relay cavity B and splice S230
    • CKT 295 (GRY) between the door lock relay cavity E and splice S228.

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
