Did you review the power seats circuit description and perform the necessary inspections?

Disconnect the inoperative power seat connector.

Check for battery voltage with DMM from cavity A to ground.

Is battery voltage present?

Repair OPEN/SHORT in CKT 540 (ORN) between power seat connector cavity B and I/P fuse block, cavity A7.

Is the repair complete?

Check for continuity of ground CKT 750 (BLK) from cavity A to ground.

Is the wire functional?

--

Go to Step 6

Repair OPEN/SHORT in CKT 750 (BLK).

Is the repair complete?

  1. Leave the 2-way disconnected.
  2. Connect one lead of the DMM to cavity C of the seat adjuster switch.
  3. With the other lead, probe each cavity of the seat adjuster switch connector for continuity while activating it's respective function.

Are any of the functions inoperative?

Replace the power seat adjuster switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement

Replace the power seat motor. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster
