1	Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Theft Deterrent?	Go to Step 2	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Theft Deterrent
2	Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR). Probe the inoperative lock tamper switch circuit at the RCDLR with a test light to B+. Does the test light illuminate?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 3
3	With the test light still connected, unlock the inoperative lock tamper switch with a key. Does the test light illuminate?	Go to Step 8	Go to Step 4
4	Disconnect the inoperative tamper switch connector. Test for an open in the tamper switch ground circuit. Refer to Testing for Continuity and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 5
5	Test for an open in the door lock tamper switch signal circuit. Refer to Testing for Continuity and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 7
6	Test for a short to ground in the inoperative lock tamper switch circuit. Refer to Testing for Short to Ground and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 7
7	Test for a poor connection at the inoperative door lock tamper switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 9
