Removal Procedure

Caution: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the stationary window assembly. Refer to the following procedures:
  4. •  Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows
    •  Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement
    •  Window Channel Replacement
  5. Push the window (1) rearward.
  6. Rotate the window (1) in order to release the window sash channel from the regulator rollers.
  7. Remove the window (1) from the regulator.

  8. Object Number: 333900  Size: SH
  9. Remove the window (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Move the regulator to the half-way down position in order to locate the front roller.

  2. Object Number: 333900  Size: SH
  3. Install the window (1) into the door.
  4. Insert the window sash channel into the rear roller.
  5. Level the glass.
  6. Slide the glass forward into the front roller.

  7. Lift the window (1) lightly by hand in order to inspect the alignment of the window.
  8. The window (1) should feel stationary.

  9. Install the stationary window assembly. Refer to the following procedures:
  10. •  Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows
    •  Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement
    •  Window Channel Replacement
  11. Install the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
