  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Place the headlamp switch in the PARK position.
  3. Place the front fog lamp switch in the ON position.
  4. Place the rear fog lamp switch in the ON position.

Do the rear fog lamps illuminate?

  1. Place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position.
  2. Place the front fog lamp switch in the OFF position.
  3. Place the rear fog lamp switch in the ON position.

  1. Remove the rear fog lamp relay.
  2. Probe the park lamp supply circuit of the rear fog lamp relay with a test lamp that is connected to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Connect a fused jumper between the park lamp supply voltage circuit of the rear fog lamp relay and the fog lamps supply voltage circuit of the rear fog lamp relay.

Do the rear fog lamps turn on?

  1. Connect a fused jumper between the signal circuit and the ground circuit of the rear fog lamp switch.
  2. Probe the control circuit of the rear fog lamp relay with a test lamp that is connected to battery voltage.

  1. Disconnect the body control module (BCM).
  2. Probe the fog lamp switch signal circuit of the BCM with a test lamp that is connected to battery voltage.

  2. Probe the headlamp switch signal circuit of the diode module with a test lamp that is connected to ground.

  2. Probe the input fog lamp relay coil supply voltage circuit of the diode module with a test lamp that is connected to ground.

  2. Disconnect one of the rear fog lamps.
  3. Probe the supply voltage circuit of the rear fog lamp connector with a test lamp that is connected to ground.

  2. Probe the supply voltage circuit of the inoperative rear fog lamp connector with a test lamp that is connected to ground.
