With the ignition in either the ACC or ON positions, the DVD screens each receive an individual 12V power supply. The DVD screen power supply is distributed via the Audio/Video Interface Module. DTCs B1335 03 and B1335 07 relate to the headlining DVD screen installed to lower level vehicles and the right front head restraint DVD screen on higher level vehicles. DTCs B1340 03 and B1340 07 relate to the left front head restraint DVD screen on higher level vehicles.
DTC B1335 03 or B1340 03 will set to indicate the B+ positive supplied to the DVD screen is below the threshold.
DTC B1335 07 or B1340 07 will set to indicate the B+ positive supplied to the DVD screen is above the threshold.
These DTCs run continuously once the following condition is met:
The supplied power to the DVD screen is between 9 - 16V.
When DTC B1335 or B1340 is set, the DVD screen will not turn ON.
• | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. |

The DVD screen power supply is distributed via the rear seat entertainment interface module. DTC B1335 03 or DTC B1340 03 could set concurrently with DTC B1423 03 as a result of the B+ positive supplied to the Audio/Video Interface Module being below the threshold. DTC B1335 07 or DTC B1340 07 could set concurrently with DTC B1423 07 as a result of the B+ positive supplied to the Audio/Video Interface Module being above the threshold. In the event of these DTCs setting together either DTC B1423 03 or DTC B1423 07 should be diagnosed first. If either DTC B1423 03 or DTC B1423 07 is not set it would suggest that the fault exists after the Audio/Video Interface Module and is within the B+ positive supply to the DVD screen or a fault within the component.
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the circuti for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If not within specified range, test the battery positive voltage circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal replace the Audio/Video Interface Module. |
