Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Remove the rear compartment sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
2. Remove the rear compartment stow tray. Refer to Rear Storage Compartment Replacement.
3. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Remove the auxiliary air distributor duct and auxiliary HVAC wiring fastener (2), and duct to body retainer (1).

Important: Do not damage the seal.

5. Disengage the auxiliary air distributor duct (4) from the auxiliary heater and air conditioner module (3).

Important: Ensure the seal is in place and is not damaged.

1. Engage the auxiliary air distributor duct (4) onto the auxiliary heater and air conditioner module (3).
2. Install the auxiliary air distributor duct and HVAC wiring fastener (2) and duct to body retainer (1).
3. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Install the rear compartment stow tray. Refer to Rear Storage Compartment Replacement.
5. Install the rear compartment sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
